帕特里克·莫迪亚诺（1945-），法国作家。生于巴黎，父亲是犹太金融企业家，母亲是比利时艺术家。1968年发表处女作《星形广场》一举成名。后创作的《夜间巡逻》（1969）、《环城林荫大道》（1972）均获得法国文坛上的重要奖项。1978年发表的《暗店街》获得当年的龚古尔文学奖。1996年获法国国家文学奖。《夜半撞车》是一部带有自传色彩的小说，具有典型的“新寓言派”特征，体现了作者一贯的写作风格。2003年由伽利玛出版社出版，在读者中产生了相当广泛的影响。
